The lodge and its prices

This single-storey house is situated in a bucolic setting, at the gateway to the countryside and forests, on the edge of footpaths and not far from the first beaches. Between 2022 and 2023, the O’Ty’Zoiseaux gîte was renovated, furnished and fitted out by ourselves.

The gîte has been fitted out in an upcycling* spirit: creating something new from something old, without transforming or deconstructing the raw materials we use.

A charming 19th century farmhouse that provides peace and quiet. The songs and whistles of the tits, great spotted woodpeckers and bullfinches, the fruit trees and vegetable garden will give you a taste of the pleasures of country life.
With ease, up to 5 people can take advantage of its facilities. You’ll appreciate the choice of soothing colours, furnishings and objects, to make this place feel like a cocoon.

O’Ty’Zoiseaux has 2 bedrooms, a shower room with WC, a lounge and a kitchen with storage space. The living and sleeping areas are separated by a corridor. Access to the Rosae bedroom and shower room (via a corridor with storage space) is via the Hydrangea bedroom.

There is direct access to and a view of the garden and vegetable patch, as well as a fully-equipped terrace.

The outdoor areas have been designed, landscaped and adapted so that you can take full advantage of nature’s gentleness throughout the day.

There is a covered storage area for your bicycles. Don’t forget to bring them with you, so you can make the most of the green route.

Baby equipment is available: high chair, cot.

Parking for 2 vehicles is available within the gîte grounds.

The house is non-smoking and non-ventilating, but outside facilities are available.

O’Ty’Zoiseaux is set in the heart of deep countryside that forms the transition between the Montagnes Noires and one of the most beautiful stretches of the Breton coastline from Concarneau to Quimperlé. O’Ty’Zoiseaux is located at the gateway to Cornouaille and not far from the village of Scaër.

The village of Scaër has a hypermarket, local shops and a market selling local produce on Saturday mornings.

Activities are available in Scaër: municipal swimming pool, fitness trail, greenway, equestrian centre.

The location of the O’Ty’Zoiseaux gîte also allows you to visit the region and take part in sporting activities.

Beaches, coastal paths (GR 34), the towns of Concarneau, Quimperlé, Quimper, Pont Aven, Douarnenez,….. the black mountains, the Nantes/Brest canal, the Trévarez estate, the Huelgoat forest, hiking trails (GR 38), the greenway (20 minutes’ walk from the gîte)….. the list goes on.
